As part of LIO, the Customer & Partner Communities & Compensation Engineering (CPCCE) team builds digital capabilities that support the Partner Incentives and Metrics component. This team drives Cisco’s recurring revenue transformation by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) extensively across CRM architectures, data frameworks, sales governance, and partner compensation platforms.
Role Summary & Key Responsibilities
AI-Driven End-to-End Solution Delivery
- Feature Development: Design, develop, and unit test AI-enabled features using Cisco Preferred LLM, Cisco LLM, SDLC Agents, and GitHub Copilot for Code support.
- Maintenance & Reliability: Maintain and improve production AI solutions to ensure long-term maintainability, high performance, and system reliability.
- Bug & Incident Resolution: Investigate and resolve bugs, data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and security concerns using AI tools to streamline the development lifecycle.
Engineering Architecture & Process Improvement
- Process Definition: Define engineering best practices and establish development scope leveraging AI-driven workflows.
- Agile & Ops Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Business System Analysts (BSAs) and Product Owners to deliver prioritized features across Solution and Execution phases in Agile Ops mode.

- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience, OR
- Master’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in Computer Science, AI/ML Engineering, or a related field.
- Core GenAI & Architecture Skills: Proven understanding of Generative AI capabilities, N-Tier architectural concepts, and Harness Engineering across code-design-test-deploy cycles.
- Programming Languages: Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, Java, Full Stack development, and Snowflake backend queries.
- Data & Machine Learning: Practical knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Distributed Systems: Hands-on experience building distributed backend systems utilizing Snowflake data platform.
- CI/CD & Developer Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub Copilot, BOTs/Agents, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Methodology: Practical experience working within Agile development frameworks.
