As an Associate Software Engineer based in the Pune, India office, you will research, develop, and deploy cloud-native microservices and REST API integrations that link enterprise security tools. Working on complex data workflows, you will automate incident response and continuously optimize the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines powering GreyMatter.

Software Engineering & API Development

• GreyMatter Platform Evolution: Design, write, and deploy high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• REST API & Tool Integrations: Build RESTful APIs and secure integrations connecting disparate security products to automate customer threat detection and incident response workflows.
• Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Participate in peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, write robust unit/integration tests, and optimize application performance.

• DevOps & Pipeline Management: Manage and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for complex, scalable services.
• Lifecycle Automation: Proactively identify and automate manual steps across all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal technical teams and external stakeholders to ensure platform features deliver seamless operational value.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 0 to 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Core Stack Mastery: Hands-on development experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Architecture: Practical understanding of building applications within a Microservices Architecture.
