The Associate System Engineer (Cognitive Process Automation) role focuses on converting standard process definitions into intelligent, AI-driven automation workflows. Working with strategic IBM assets like watsonx, Watson APIs, and the IBM Consulting Advantage platform, developers collaborate with RPA Architects and Automation Project Managers to build cognitive solutions (including Agent Assist and User Assist) that optimize service delivery.

• Cognitive Solution Engineering: Translate functional process definitions into end-to-end cognitive automation workflows using Watson APIs, watsonx products (watsonx Orchestrate, watsonx Assistant), and cognitive accelerators.
• Accelerator Implementation: Deploy and customize Cognitive Assistance accelerators such as Agent Assist and User Assist to streamline client operations and service interactions.
• Platform Utilization: Leverage the IBM Consulting Advantage Platform (including Methodx, pre-built assets, and cognitive assistants) alongside IDCP (IBM Delivery Center Platform) for rapid solution deployment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with clients, Automation Project Managers, RPA Architects, and delivery teams to ensure technical alignment and seamless execution.
• End-to-End Delivery Support: Support solution architecture, system testing, integration, and deployment throughout the project lifecycle.

Academic Credentials

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Technical Competencies & Experience
