Audit Execution & Substantive Testing

• Review Procedures: Perform routine substantive testing, controls testing, and analytical procedures defined by global engagement teams for year-end audit cycles.
• Documentation: Prepare clear, structured, and compliant audit documentation adhering to EY global auditing standards and methodologies.
• Financial Statement Analysis: Identify potential review issues, unusual account relationships, or variance anomalies from basic financial statement reviews.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Global Coordination: Work closely with senior auditors and engagement teams across the US and Europe to align on audit schedules and deliverable quality.
• Efficiency Enhancements: Evaluate review techniques across client engagements, suggest process improvements, and challenge outdated testing routines.
• Compliance & Ethics: Maintain strict adherence to professional standards, regulatory guidelines, and client data confidentiality policies.

Mandatory Credentials

• Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) OR CA Inter with fully completed 3-year Articleship.
• Experience Range: 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience in financial audit, assurance, or accounting routines preferred.

Key Technical & Soft Skills

• Core understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and international auditing concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-border teamwork.
• Proven ability to manage tight deadlines during peak financial year-end audit cycles.

Estimated Compensation Expectations

For an Assurance Consultant (CA / CA Inter with 0.5–1 year experience) at EY GDS Noida:

• Estimated Base Compensation: ₹6,00,000 to ₹9,00,000 INR per annum (for CA Inter) / ₹8,50,000 to ₹11,50,000 INR per annum (for Fresh Qualified CAs).
• Total Annual CTC: Includes performance bonuses, health insurance, and professional development allowances.
