Within the Product Engineering division, the Cyber Security Engineering team focuses on embedding robust security controls across Honeywell’s products, systems, and services. In this role, you will work alongside senior security professionals and system engineers to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks throughout the entire Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).

Role Summary & Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment & Threat Modeling

  • Cybersecurity Assessments: Support threat modeling, risk analysis, and security reviews for Honeywell hardware and software solutions.
  • Control Verification: Help implement, verify, and document cybersecurity requirements and security controls in product designs.

Vulnerability Management & Security Testing

  • Vulnerability Scanning: Participate in security testing, vulnerability scanning, and validation activities.
  • Remediation Tracking: Assist in identifying, logging, and tracking security vulnerabilities and their corresponding remediation actions.

Incident Response & Secure Development

  • Incident Support: Support security incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and vulnerability resolution under the guidance of senior team members.
