American Express is a global financial services leader renowned for providing premium credit card, merchant, and banking services. The Commercial, Merchant, and Banking Servicing team acts as the direct line of support for Small Business Card Members and commercial banking clients.
As an Apprentice, you will undergo structured corporate training while directly contributing to servicing activities. You will assist Small Business Card Members with account maintenance, query resolution, and card benefit optimization, delivering First-Contact Resolution (FCR) in a highly compliant and fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities & Daily Operations
- Customer Servicing & Value Generation: Interact with Small Business Card Members to resolve financial, maintenance, and account queries. Assess customer profiles and needs to recommend relevant card benefits and features while driving spend engagement.
- Issue Resolution & FCR: Apply active call-handling and communication skills to resolve complex inquiries efficiently during first contact.
- Compliance & Quality Adherence: Strictly adhere to internal risk management protocols, service guidelines, customer confidentiality, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Operational Feedback: Identify recurring customer friction points and recommend workflow or procedural updates to improve overall service quality.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria

- Degree Level: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Educational Gap Limit: Not more than 5 years of gap/difference between your highest degree completion date and your joining date.
- Government Apprenticeship Restriction: Must NOT have been previously enrolled in any Indian Government Apprenticeship program (e.g., NATS/NAPS).

Compensation & Benefits Expectations
