As an Application Engr I at Honeywell’s Hadapsar facility in Pune, you will support technical solution design, software configuration, testing, and deployment of control/automation applications for global industrial and building projects.

System Engineering & Solution Design

• Application Design: Gather customer requirements to assist in designing and configuring software and control logic for Honeywell automation systems.
• Control & Panel Configurations: Support the generation of detailed hardware/software control schematics, system topologies, and database configurations.
• System Testing & Validation: Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and functional testing to verify that application software aligns with client operational requirements.

Project Execution & Technical Support

• Deployment Support: Assist on-site or remote teams during system commissioning, software deployment, and site handover.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose application bugs, configuration errors, and network interface issues during system rollout.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, systems engineers, and quality assurance teams to meet project delivery deadlines.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Technical Competencies

• Automation Fundamentals: Understanding of PLC, SCADA, DCS, or building management systems (BMS).
• Software & Database Basics: Basic exposure to SQL, scripting, or SDLC fundamentals.
• Industrial Networking: Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP).
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Hands-on ability to analyze application logs and perform system testing.

Estimated Compensation Expectations

For an Application Engineer I (0–3 years experience) at Honeywell Automation India (Pune):

• Estimated Base Salary: ₹4,50,000 to ₹7,50,000 INR per annum.
• Total Annual Package (CTC): ₹5,20,000 to ₹8,50,000 INR (includes performance incentives, medical cover, and employee benefits).
