The Catastrophe and Risk Solutions division (located at Raheja Mindspace, Hyderabad) builds cloud-hosted SaaS applications and extreme event catastrophe risk platforms. These enterprise tools integrate AI, geospatial data, atmospheric risk models, and high-performance financial analytics to help global insurance carriers and reinsurers quantify and manage catastrophe risks.

• Cloud Web Application Architecture: Design and build high-performance, cloud-hosted SaaS web applications for insurance and reinsurance risk analytics, covering data workflows, database schemas, and microservices network design.
• Full Stack Development: Build responsive front-end user interfaces using Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap, integrated with backend services.
• REST API & Microservices Engineering: Develop high-throughput RESTful APIs and backend business logic using Python and modern web frameworks like FastAPI.
• AI Integration & Feature Acceleration: Leverage AI development tools to optimize software delivery while embedding AI-driven features and predictive capabilities into commercial products.
• Testing & Quality Automation: Create and execute UI automation test suites alongside active feature development to safeguard software reliability.
• DevOps & Infrastructure Collaboration: Deploy SaaS applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, writing infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using Terraform and using Git version control.

Academic Background

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Mandatory Technical Experience & Skills

• Total Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on commercial/enterprise software development experience.
• Full Stack Python Experience: 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Python Full Stack Developer building and supporting cloud SaaS products.
• Backend Stack: Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI (or Flask/Django), and RESTful API architecture.
• Frontend Stack: Strong proficiency in Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Databases: Solid experience managing SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
