The Underwriting Solutions division (operating out of Raheja Mindspace, Hyderabad) builds enterprise SaaS platforms used by global insurance carriers. • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical direction, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers; identify skill gaps and foster team growth.
• Full Stack Architecture & Engineering: Architect and develop scalable, high-throughput distributed solutions using .NET Core / C#, Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact for product management, UX design, and senior leadership, translating complex technical architectures into strategic business concepts.
• DevOps, CI/CD & Test Automation: Advocate for and implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release management workflows to accelerate high-quality software delivery.
• Risk Mitigation & Code Quality: Anticipate architectural bottlenecks and security risks, establish coding standards, enforce design patterns, and ensure platform uptime and scalability.

Academic Background

• Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Mandatory Technical Experience & Skills

• Total Experience: Minimum 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, with demonstrated experience leading engineering pods or technical workstreams.
• Backend Stack: Deep expertise in .NET Core, C#, RESTful Microservices architecture, Web APIs, and design patterns.
• Frontend Stack: Hands-on proficiency in Angular or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern responsive UI frameworks.
• Database & Persistence: Strong expertise in relational database design, query optimization, and ORM frameworks using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Agile & Delivery: In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, code review standards, and CI/CD tools.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in InsurTech, Fintech, or commercial insurance underwriting systems.
