Software Development & System Engineering

• Idiomatic Code: Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable Python code across server, desktop, web, or Kubernetes applications.
• Debugging & Architecture: Debug complex system-level or web-service issues and architect robust fixes with performance in mind.
• Cross-Domain Engineering: Maintain tools, frameworks, and web services that integrate with Ubuntu, containers, and Linux infrastructure.

Open Source Collaboration & Documentation

• Distributed Alignment: Collaborate asynchronously and proactively with globally distributed engineering teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative showcasing an equivalent self-taught engineering path.
• Academic Record: Exceptional academic track record throughout high school and university studies.
• Python Expertise: Professional experience writing thoroughly designed, idiomatic, and maintainable Python.
• Linux Environment: Solid operational experience with Linux systems (preferably Debian or Ubuntu).
• Communication & Travel: Professional English proficiency (written and spoken) and ability to travel internationally 2 to 4 times a year for company sprints (1–2 weeks each).

Preferred Qualifications

• Containerization: Hands-on experience with LXD, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Secondary Languages: Knowledge of Golang, Rust, C, or C++.

Estimated Compensation Expectations

Canonical scales compensation based on geographic location, candidate seniority, and technical evaluation:

• India / APAC: ₹18,00,000 to ₹38,00,000 INR per annum (depending on level from Junior to Senior).
• US / Western Europe / Global Remote: $90,000 to $145,000 USD per annum + performance-driven annual bonus + $2,000 USD annual learning/development budget.
